Location was great. Plenty of cafes, restos, spas, massages, and street vendors all within the vicinity. Very walkable around the french and old quarter. We stayed at the Terrace Suite for 4days and we were pleasantly surprised that they offered us free minibar during our stay, replenished everyday. We loved the spacious room, the bathroom space, the balcony, comfy beddings (note: its a firm mattress but fluffy pillows). The room was quiet (double glazed with block out curtains very important for a good rest) and the balcony offered nice views of the area. The wet weather meant we didn't utilise the balcony often. Breakfast is offered to be ordered and delivered for in room dining. Breakkie on the balcony would be great if the weather was nice. The buffet breakfast was varied and enough for everyones taste buds. We liked the pho, egg station, congee/soups, salads and fruit selections. Reception staff were accommodating, friendly and professional. They helped with the luggage and with crossing/navigating the road. They spoke English very well and are there to offer recommendations and services as needed.

I’ve stayed at many hotels in Hanoi’s Old Quarter, but Anatole Hotel truly stands out. The quality here is exceptional, and it far exceeded my expectations. I booked the balcony suite, and it was a game-changer: spacious, beautifully designed, and incredibly relaxing. Honestly, it’s much, much better than a standard room at the Sofitel Metropole, and at a fraction of the cost. The location is another highlight. The hotel is right next to St. Joseph’s Cathedral, surrounded by stylish local shops and restaurants. Hoan Kiem Lake is just a short walk away, making it an ideal base for exploring the city. If you’re looking for a hotel that combines comfort, elegance, and convenience in the heart of Hanoi, Anatole Hotel is a top choice. I’ll definitely be coming back!

The hotel is modern and conveniently located in the old quarter. The buffet breakfast is great, with many options to choose from. The staff are absolutely amazing, hands down the most friendly and helpful. Shout out to Tet, Zhuong Stephanie, and Helen. They made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived. Most of all, we're so grateful for their assistance when our daughter fell ill late in the evening to go see a doctor. We've recommended your hotel to our family, who will be visiting early January 2025. Thank you so much for making our stay so warm and welcoming.

The hotel itself was quite nice and very comfortable, but the biggest asset is the staff. They were all incredibly friendly and helpful. My trip had a bumpy start when the taxi driver suddenly demanded far more money for the ride from the airport; someone from the concierge desk helped with translation and resolving the issue. They all reserved a ticket for the water puppet show which saved me a hassle when I asked for help with that later. I want to give a special acknowledgement to Thien for being amazing at his job! The breakfast was delicious too.

Truly an exceptional property in the heart of Hanoi’s Old Quarter. The staff commitment to quality service is honestly outstanding and really one of the best I’ve seen around Asia. We loved the breakfast options, the central location, the great amenities including the pool and the scooter rental which was made super easy by the lovely staff. We were also gifted an afternoon on the rooftop which was lovely and very tasty, as well as the airport ride back to the airport. This is definitely the place we will come back to when in Hanoi again!
